Scything: Make a Scythe & Learn to Mow

REGISTER

Instructor: Jeromy Biazzo

Students will make a simple one handed snath (handle) to fit a blade they bring or purchase from Groundswell. Snath design and assembly will be made simpler so that more time can be applied to mowing. Ring clasps will be purchased and handles will be attached with a hanger bolt.

If you want to purchase tools independently, they can be bought from Scytheworks.ca, www.lehmans.com or onescytherevolution.com, howlandtools.com, or scythesupply.com.

Tools needed: Scythe blades and ring clasps.

Instructor Bio: Jeromy Biazzo is a skilled scythe make and mower, and owner of Wolftree Farm.
