These beginner-friendly\, hands-on workshops are designed to help participants build practical farming skills\, confidence\, and connections through shared learning and field-based experience. \n Farm Tools 101: Safe Use & Practical Skills \n June 25 | 5:30 PM\nThis hands-on workshop introduces participants to common hand and power tools used in small-scale farming\, with guided practice focused on safety\, ergonomics\, maintenance\, and practical farm applications.\nRegister here: \n Soil Health 101: Why Soil Care Matters \n July 23 | 5:30 PM\nLearn the foundations of healthy soil through interactive demonstrations exploring composting\, mulching\, weed suppression\, soil structure\, moisture retention\, soil testing and interpreting results\, and other practical strategies used in organic farming systems.
