Multifaceted goal setting and design thinking are becoming standard elements of managerial practice.
Running a farm is no exception to that!
Holistic management allows farmers to channel their farm goals into an action plan that is clear, realistic and efficient. In this course, we will discuss the main elements of a holistic management system and how each farmer and project can effectively apply this approach for economic, ecological and operational efficiency.
Some key points will include how to align decision making and goal setting with the health of the social and environmental systems that we work in. We will look at case studies and develop and discuss attendee farm plans. Don’t be afraid to bring all your ideas for your dream farm project and we will discuss strategies for harnessing the potential of your farm, operationalizing your ideals and establishing a framework that suits unique situations.
This workshop is part of the Grow Your Farm Business Course Series. Learn more about additional offerings within the series HERE.
