Register for the Conference

To be accessible for all, the 3-day Conference is FREE for all participants, thanks in large part to the generous in-kind support of many organizations, grantors and sponsors. The ‘true’ cost to each participant would be $150 without this support. If you’re able, consider making a donation.
Groundswell Center is a project of the Center for Transformative Action, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which accepts all funds on our behalf. Please makes checks out to the CENTER FOR TRANSFORMATIVE ACTION, with GROUNDSWELL in the memo line.

  • A Note on Capacity: While we will have registration available on site the day(s) of the conference, registering online ensures your place at Farm to Plate. If the conference locations fill to capacity, we will have to turn away those who have not pre-registered.
  • A Note on Food and Conference Costs: Dinner on Thursday, May 11th and Lunch on Friday, May 12th are provided. We ask for suggested donation for those who can pay, which will offset the costs of the conference. Dinner on Friday, May 12th is a fundraising event for Roots Rising Farm. Lunch on Saturday, May 13th will be available for purchase from a range of local food entrepreneurs. Your online donation to the conference will help support the non-profit organizations who are co-organizing and contributing to the conference.
  • A Note on Transportation: Free transportation is available to Cornell University (Africana Center) on Thursday night, to the Farm Tours on Friday afternoon, and from the Space at Greenstar to BJM Elementary Friday afternoon. Please indicate on this registration form if you will need transportation, or call 607-255-3213.
