About the Workshop:
It’s never been easier, harder or more relevant to bring your farm-based business online! Whether this is a hypothetical interest or mission-critical, join us for two evenings of sharing & strategizing led by two farm-based women in the Finger Lakes. The first session will focus on the keys to keep in mind; the second will offer a ‘workshop’ of critical questions & accountability to help you bring your dreams to life.
About the presenters:
Growing up in her father’s garden in the Finger Lakes, Petra believes each seed and each of us is in the world to change the world. Her passion, curiosity, love of food and love of people led her all over the world studying seed, song and culture worth celebrating. In 2012, she co-founded Fruition Seeds with her partner Matthew to share the seeds, knowledge and inspiration gardeners crave to amplify our individual as well as collective abundance in our short seasons.  If she’s not farming she is singing, skiing, snuggling her dogs, hunting mushrooms or learning something new.

Geraldine is a clinically trained herbalist, gardener, and botanical dyer. The thread that weaves her work together is the concept of bioregionalism – working with the abundant flora & fungi of her region. In 2015 Geraldine founded Suntrap Botanical as an answer to the question “How can we provide for human needs while regenerating a thriving ecology?” Through Suntrap Botanical she hosts an online apothecary shop and an online course “Bioregional Herbalism and Medicine Making”. In 2020 Geraldine launched Sunblood, an experimental textile studio focused on slow fashion and botanically dyed garments with her dear friend and collaborator, Sarah Elizabeth Buckner of Blood, Bone & Honey
