Learn the foundations of healthy soil through interactive demonstrations exploring composting, mulching, weed suppression, soil structure, moisture retention, soil testing and interpreting results, and other practical strategies used in organic farming systems.  Harvest & Post-Harvest Basics: Safe Handling and Produce Care

Participants will learn practical harvesting, washing, cooling, and storage techniques that help maintain produce quality, improve food safety, and reduce post-harvest loss on small-scale farms.
