Mushroom Log Inoculation Station @ GreenTree Garden Days

Groundswell will be at the GreenTree Garden Days on Saturday, June 1st, 10a-2p. This is an annual, 3 weekend long event at GreenTree, and this year we are excited to be a part of it! We will be bringing some logs to inoculate with shiitake spores!

In this hands-on activity, inoculate shiitake mushroom spores into a log to take home and grow your own shiitake mushrooms. You will leave the event with the log and instructions on how to prepare for a shiitake bloom! $10 per log.

Please note: This is a hands-on and fun activity, but does involve using a power tools and hot wax. Young children must be supervised by an adult to take part in this activity.
