Come out to Groundswell’s Incubator Farm for a tour led by the Incubator Farm Manager or Groundswell staff member. Open to anyone interested in learning more about this program. Not even sure what we’re talking about? Check out this article for some background info about New York State’s first incubator farm.

Summer 2017 Farm Tour Schedule:

Tuesday, July 25th – 5:30-6:30pm

Saturday, August 5th – 3:00-5:00pm On-farm Soil Health Workshop (not a tour) with NOFA-NY Field Days. Spanish and Karen language translators will be present.

Saturday, August 13th – continuous tours 12:00pm-4:00pm as part of Open Farm Days (multiple farms on the west side of Cayuga Lake are hosting tours)

Tuesday, September 12th – 5:30-6:30pm

Directions:

The Groundswell Incubator Farm is located on land owned by EcoVillage Ithaca, 100 Rachel Carson Way, Ithaca NY.

From Ithaca, take route 79 West for 2 miles, turn left on Rachel Carson Way, bear left just before the store Gourdlandia building. Turn left at the stop sign, passing solar panels and a greenhouse. The Incubator Farm is just down the hill from the solar panels. There is a Groundswell sign on the gate.
