We have a large bedroom available for one or two folks in an 1824 farmhouse on our homestead, along with plenty of land use opportunities. It's $350/mo including a work trade.
Our goal is to create a small cooperative community. Currently we have goats for milk, sheep for meat and fiber, turkeys for eggs and meat, and guineas for eggs and amusement! Our orchard contains cherries, apples, pears, and plums, with room for more of whatever you'd like to add. There is plenty of space for permaculture projects, edible forest gardening, farming swales, building a greenhouse, using one of the buildings currently here for any type of project, or building your own tiny house or yurt. We also do what foraging we can, and add new methods of food preservation to our repertoire as we go along. We're at the top of a hill and the view from our porch goes on forever, come take a look and see how it inspires you to grow.
